    One thing to be clear about: we are most interested in collections rather than one-off sales. If you have a single record or a handful, we are probably not the right buyer, but a full or part collection of electronic, jazz, ambient, rare groove or audiophile pressings is exactly what we want to see.

    We're honest with you up front. If what you have doesn't fit our catalogue, we'll tell you and point you to the right buyer, Discogs, eBay or a specialist dealer. We'd rather lose a deal than waste your time.

    Do you sell second-hand vinyl?

    No, and we would rather say so plainly. VinylVault does not sell second-hand or used records. Everything in the shop is new and sealed, supplied by authorised distributors.

    We do buy second-hand collections. If you have records to move on, tell us what you have and we will come back with a quote. If you are here to buy instead, our catalogue classics and reissues are the closest thing to a dig through the back racks.

    A rough count and the main genres is all we need to start. Photos are gold, but not required at this stage. Single records and very small lots are rarely a fit for us.
